Tucked between Palolem and Agonda in south Goa, Butterfly Beach is shaped like a perfect half-moon. The 20-minute boat ride from Palolem or a steep forest trek from Agonda keeps day-trippers out. The bay is named for the butterflies that flock to its flowering trees; dolphins are regularly spotted offshore.
