The "Waterfalls this week" section ranks every waterfall destination by its current flow percentile - today's river discharge measured against 24 years of data for the same month - so a high percentile means the falls are unusually full for the season, and a low one means a thinner curtain than the photos suggest.

Live traffic comes from the TomTom Routing API, waterfall flow from Copernicus GloFAS river-discharge data, and bloom windows from documented forest-department and long-term observation records. The pulse is recomputed hourly.
