Long Island has one jetty, a village of a few hundred people, painted arrow markers instead of roads, and zero traffic. Lalaji Bay - reached by forest trail or dunghi boat - is among the Andamans' most beautiful beaches, and low tide opens sandbars toward Guitar Island's uninhabited curve. Power comes and goes, plans dissolve, and most travellers who find it end up extending their stay. The antidote to Havelock's crowds.
